2009 Cookie Season
Theme: Imagine if…we could change the world!
The 2009 Cookie Program will be exciting for our girls, streamlined and simple
for our volunteers and unified for our new council. Staff are encouraged to share the following information with girls and
volunteers. Dates:
January 24, 2009
Cookie Program begins for Preorders
(a.k.a. Initial Orders) March 6, 2009
Cookie Booth Program begins March 29, 2009
Cookie Booth Program ends The 2009 Cookie Program will have a new look and new design! Troop proceeds will increase for five of the merging “Legacy
Councils.”
Troop proceeds will be 75 cents for every box sold and 80 cents for older girl troops (Cadette, Senior, Ambassador)
that opt out of incentives; however, girls will still receive the Participation Patch and special recognition for the 500
and 1000 box levels.
Service Units (a.k.a. Neighborhood Units) will be provided with .01 cent per box sold by members within the Service
Unit if the unit has increased girl registration by 3% or more by December 15, 2008 (compared to 12/31/07).
Daisies can sell to family and friends!
The 2009 Cookie Season will give girls
a world of fun…while making a world of difference. Girls will combine the power of their imaginations with the power
of the Girl Scout Cookie Program to lead change in their communities! |
