Mt. Wilson Vista All-Council Encampment 2008 
Promises a Swashbuckling Good Time!
                           Registration Closes March 3, 2008
Plans are well underway for that great Mt. Wilson Vista Council get-together that only happens once every three years! 

The next All-Council Encampment, “Shiver Me Timbers,” scheduled for May 16-18, 2008 at Glen Helen Regional Park, will bring a weekend of pirate-themed adventures and activities guaranteed to delight Girl Scouts and adults of all ages.

2005 All-Council Encampment 
The Shiver Me Timbers All-Council Encampment will thrill buccaneers of all ages. Elders and younguns alike will have the opportunity to experience many exciting adventures. Come and get yer T-shirt, souvenir and event patch. Most importantly, meet Captain Jack, Master of Ceremonies, at our pirate party on Saturday night and have ye a great time!  Registration opens November 1, 2007.  See details below.

The last All-Council Encampment was held in Santa Barbara in September of 2005.  “Somewhere in Time” was the theme of this tent-camping adventure in which 1,100 girls and 550 adults from every corner of the council enjoyed a weekend of meeting friends, camping, and outdoor projects and activities.

Shiver Me Timbers promises to continue this legacy with an exciting weekend of adventures and activities!  Registration is limited, so make plans now for your troop to be part of the fun, fellowship and learning in May, 2008 in San Bernardino!

Who:  All Ye Girl Scout Pirates 
When: Friday, May 16 – Sunday, May 18, 2008 
Where: Glen Helen Regional Park, Devore
Fee:  $35 per person (does not include food) 
Registration: Register using the All-Council Encampment Registration Form.  Registration opens November 1, 2007 and closes March 3, 2008.  Please note that all fees are also due on March 3, 2008
                     
 










You’ll walk the plank if you don’t attend the mandatory meetin’ in March 2008!

Each troop must bring an adult who has completed all three levels of Camping Skills Training.  Safety-Wise adult/girl ratios must be met. Only registered Girls Scouts may attend this event. No Tag-alongs.
