1.
Day camp registration opens February 1, 2008. Registrations are processed and confirmations are mailed weekly thereafter.
If a session is filled, you will be notified by e-mail or letter and placed on a waiting list.
2. No priority is given to registrations that are received prior to February 1, 2008.
3. Any outstanding debts owed the council must be paid before the registration
will be processed.
4. A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $25 per
girl per week must be included with each registration form. Camp fees may be paid in full and included with the registration
form; however paying in full does not guarantee placement. Outstanding balances will be billed 6 weeks prior to the first
day of camp and must be paid in full 4 weeks prior to the start of camp to guarantee placement. If payments are not received
when due and a waiting list exists, the registration will be automatically dropped and an individual from the waiting list
will be selected and billed. If payment is not received and there is not a waiting list, the registrant will remain
enrolled and held responsible for payment.
5. Cookie Dough $
Cards will be accepted for all summer day camp sessions. They may not be used in lieu of deposit fees.
6. Girls who are not registered members of Girl Scouts must include $10.00 along with
their deposit to become a registered member of Girl Scouts of the U.S.A.
7. Please be sure to include all requested information. Incomplete forms will not be accepted. Forms without
a deposit will be returned.
8. Please make checks payable to
GSMWVC and include the camper’s name on your check.
9.
If you are applying for financial assistance, complete both sides of the Financial Assistance Application
Form and return it with the Day Camp Registration Form along with a $25.00 deposit. Girls can receive only one week of financial
assistance.
10. Two weeks prior to camp, a welcome letter and camp information will be sent.
11. Registration should be mailed to GSMWVC, 101 E. Wheeler Avenue, Arcadia, CA 91006,

Refund/Cancellation Policy
If
a camper is unable to attend a day camp, please notify the Council Registrar by mail, fax, or e-mail as soon as possible.
To request a refund, notify the council IN WRITING (ATTN: REGISTRAR),
or by e-mail to kaguiniga@gsmwvc.org at least 10 days prior to the first day of camp. The deposit will not be returned. Special circumstances
such as illness will be considered on an individual basis.
NO-SHOWS
WILL NOT RECEIVE A REFUND! If a camper has a doctor’s note and withdraws early due to illness or injury, a
pro-rated refund will be paid. If the camper leaves at a parent’s request, there will be no refund. Refund requests
accompanied by a doctor’s note must be received by the council on or before Sept. 25, 2008.
