reporting and newspaper design camp. Topics will include: Interview Secrets, Writing So Readers Read On, Design and
Page Layout, Photography Tips, Content Planning and Story Ideas. No experience is necessary. Showcase your creativity
and learn about the news biz!

Beauties (July 9, 12, 16 and 23, 2008) This exciting
new day camp is perfect for all aspiring green thumbs. Among other activities, girls will experiment with different
gardening methods and spend a day helping maintain the natural wilderness at Monrovia Canyon Park. Along the way, girls
will earn the “Plant Life” Interest Project Award. (This camp is held in the early evening; no extended
care available.)

Art Attack! (July 10, 17, 24, and 31, 2008) Come one! Come all to Art Attack! Try your artistic
hand at a new art medium each day! This is the time to dabble in everything from Quilting, Mask making, Clay Sculpting,

Domestic Goddess (July 21-25, 2008) A week for girls who love to express their creativity in
the kitchen, or with a sewing machine. Have you ever wondered how to do needlepoint or embroidery? Then this is
the camp for you! Goddesses will end the week by preparing a meal fit for kings and queens—your parents!

Horsin’ Around (Session I: August 4-8, 2008; Session II: August 18-22, 2008) A day camp for horse lovers! With
the aid of qualified instructors, each girl will groom and saddle, lead and tie, and learn about breeds, diseases and feed
for horses. Every day includes riding instruction and a trail ride. Campers will finish the week with a Gymkana
to show off what they have learned!
