BGFGPB Career Day Planning Underway

The By Girls, For Girls Planning Board (BGFGPB) is planning a Junior, Cadette/Senior Career Day for Sunday, October 26, 2008 at Glendale Community College. All Cadette and Senior Girl Scouts interested in earning leadership and/or service hours are invited to help plan, produce and publicize this exciting event.

Through panel discussions, plenary speakers, and exhibitors in the quad, girls attending the event will have the opportunity to learn about many exciting careers, earn the Dreams to Reality patch, complete career steps towards their Silver or Gold Award requirements, or fill in the Career Exploration “gaps” for IPAs they have been working on. Registration details will be available soon, so mark your calendars!

The BGFGPB needs your help! We need your ideas and suggestions for career women you know who can serve on a panel or as an exhibitor, or contacts with local business that might be able to donate supplies to the event. Please e-mail your ideas to Lyn Repath-Martos at repathmartos@charter.net.
