:: Adult Recognition Awards
The Adult Recognition event that
has traditionally been held in June will be combined this year with the Fall Delegate Meeting on October 27,
2008. Nominations are being accepted now through September 15, 2008 for National Awards.
The Council's own awards to recognize exemplary leaders and volunteers will be held as usual at the spring
Service Unit Recognition events.
GSUSA and Service Unit awards are not progressive,
but may be awarded as determined by the contribution made by the volunteer.
Girl Scouts - Mt. Wilson Vista Council puts a high value on recognizing the adults who make Girl Scouting possible
for girls in our council. The Council adheres to the criteria of the Girl Scouts of the
U.S.A. adult recognition system and awards GSUSA recognition to outstanding leaders and volunteers.
