Officers
Debbie Williams,
President
Ms. Williams is serving her first term as President of the Board of Directors, having served
in several other positions on the Board since 2000. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a
Master’s Degree in Public Administration and is employed by Kaiser Permanente. She is a resident of Altadena.
Annette Castro Ramirez, First Vice-President
Ms. Castro
Ramirez is serving her second term as First Vice-President. She previously served as Member-At-Large and as the Co-Chair
of the Capital Campaign. She is the CEO of Annette Castro Associates and lives in San Marino. Toni Martinez-Burgoyne, Third Vice-President
Ms. Martinez-Burgoyne is serving her first term as Third Vice President, after a term as Board Member-At-Large. She previously
served as National Secretary of the GSUSA Board of Directors and as Vice-President of the Angeles Girl Scout Council Board.
She has served Girl Scouts for 20 years and lives in Pasadena.
Guy Higashi,
Secretary
Mr. Higashi is serving his first term as Secretary, after previously serving
as Member-At-Large, on the Fund Development & Planning Task Group and as chair of the Nominating Committee. He is
owner and Vice-President of Alu-mont Furniture in Irwindale.
Victor
Magsarili, Treasurer
Mr. Magsarili is serving his second term as Treasurer having served
on the Board of Directors from 1996-2000 as Chair of the Finance and Investment Committees. He owns a business in Arcadia
and is a resident of Duarte.
GSMWVC CEO
Brenda
Berg
Ms. Berg has been with the Girl Scout organization 25 years, serving councils in Iowa, Washington
and, since 1995, as CEO for Mt. Wilson Vista Council. Under her leadership Girl Scouts - Mt. Wilson Vista Council has
consistently been among the leading Girl Scout councils in membership growth, financial and resource management and board,
volunteer and staff leadership.
Members-At-Large 2007-2009
Anna Armstrong
Ms. Armstrong has rejoined the Board as a Member-At-Large after serving as President in 2001. She continues to be involved
with the Council as a member of the Finance Committee, Nominating Committee and through her significant contributions to the
property redevelopment projects and Capital Campaign.
Diane Featherstone
Ms. Featherstone is serving her first term as Member-At-Large. She is currently Senior Vice President of Human Resources
with Southern California Edison in Rosemead. She has a long history of public service and lives in La Habra.
Dale Higashi
Ms. Higashi is serving her
second term on the Board as Member-At-Large. She is a graduate of Cal State LA and a registered dietician at South Bay
Keiro Nursing Home. She is an active volunteer for a number of organizations.
Jeanie Kay
Ms. Kay is serving her second term as Member-At-Large. She has been active in Girl Scouts for many years,
serving as a Leader, a Council Trainer, and in many other capacities. She is currently the Executive Director of The
Steinmetz Foundation and lives in La Cañada.
Scott Keys
This is Mr. Keys’ first term as Member-At-Large. He is currently Executive Vice President and CFO of
Indymac Bank in Pasadena, and lives in La Cañada Flintridge.
Heather Rim
Ms. Rim is serving her first
term as Member-At-Large, bringing with her years of experience in Girl Scouting, including earning the Girl Scout Gold Award.
She is currently Vice President of Communications for Disney/ABC, Inc. and lives in Studio City.
Linda Segal, D.D.S.
Dr. Segal is serving her second term as Member-At-Large. She lives in La Cañada and practices dentistry
in Beverly Hills. In between, she finds time to volunteer for a number of community organizations.
Peggy Stahlheber
Ms. Stahlheber has rejoined the Board as a Member-At-Large
after completing her term as Board Secretary in 2005. Her involvement in Girl Scouts began as a leader of her daughter’s
troop and continued to membership on the Board, serving on many task groups and projects over the years. She currently lives
in Pasadena.
Patricia Torres-Murray
Ms.
Torres-Murray is serving her second term as Member-At-Large and also serves on the Nominating Committee. She has
served as an attorney for the Los Angeles County Counsel where she worked with Internal Affairs and the Sheriff’s
Department. She is a graduate of Loyola Law School and a resident of La Canada.
Ex-Officio
Glenn Keller
Mr. Keller has been on the Board since 1999 and is currently
serving as Ex-Officio after completing a second term as President. He retired as Vice President, Sr. Relationship Manager
for Union Bank of California in its Private Bank Group and lives in Pasadena.
Youth Advisors
Christina Garza
Ms.
Garza is a Junior at Polytechnic School in Pasadena. She has been a Girl Scout for 8 years and is a member of Troop
507 in Monrovia.
Brooke Natzic
Ms. Natzic is a Junior at Crescenta Valley High School in La
Crescenta. She has been a Girl Scout for 9 years and is a member of Troop 15. |
